In Loving Memory of Cole D. Wheeler
Gone Too Soon, Never Forgotten
With profound sadness, we share that Cole D. Wheeler, age 18, passed away following a tragic motorcycle accident on State Route 676. The accident claimed not just a young life, but the bright future and adventurous heart of a young man deeply loved by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Cole was more than just a son, a brother, or a friend—he was a spark of energy in every room, a force of nature with an infectious smile and an undeniable zest for life. From a young age, he had a fearless curiosity, always pushing boundaries and living life full-throttle. That same boldness stayed with him through his teenage years and blossomed into a passion for motorcycles—machines that gave him a sense of freedom and expression that few things could match.
He wasn’t just riding; he was flying. And in that flight, he felt most himself.
Those who knew Cole remember a young man full of life, laughter, and loyalty. He had an easygoing charm and a generous heart, always ready to help someone in need or crack a joke to lighten the mood. He was a loyal friend—the kind who would drop everything to show up for someone he cared about. His courage, his kindness, and his adventurous soul left a lasting imprint on everyone around him.
Cole had dreams—big ones. Whether it was working on bikes, exploring new places, or making the most out of every single day, he carried a fire within him that drove him forward. Though his time with us was far too short, the way he lived has left behind memories that will burn bright in the hearts of his loved ones.
His passing has left a silence where his laughter once rang out, an emptiness where his presence once brought comfort and light. The road ahead for his family and friends is heavy with grief, yet filled with the support and love of a community coming together to remember the remarkable young man Cole was.
As we hold his memory close, we ask that you please keep Cole’s family in your thoughts during this incredibly difficult time. May they find peace in the midst of heartbreak, strength in the face of sorrow, and comfort in knowing how deeply Cole was loved.
Plans for a memorial service to celebrate Cole’s life will be shared soon. In the meantime, we honor him by remembering the joy he brought, the lives he touched, and the adventures that made him who he was.
Ride free, Cole. You’ll always be with us—on the wind, in our stories, and forever in our hearts.
