With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Michael John Hopkins, who left us too soon on April 17, 2025, at the age of 38. A beloved son, father, brother, and friend, Michael’s warm spirit and generous heart will be dearly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Born and raised in Coalmont, Tennessee, Michael was known for his unwavering loyalty, sense of humor, and ability to light up any room he entered. His life, though far too short, was filled with moments of laughter, kindness, and love—qualities he freely shared with his family, friends, and community.
Michael was deeply rooted in his family. He is survived by his devoted mother, his beloved sons who were the joy of his life, his supportive siblings, and an extended circle of nieces, nephews, and cousins who adored him. His love for his family was evident in everything he did, from the way he cared for his children to the quiet sacrifices he made for those around him. He carried a rare strength, coupled with a compassionate soul that made everyone feel seen and valued.
Friends and relatives will gather at a memorial service to be announced soon, where stories, memories, and tears will be shared in honor of Michael’s life and the impact he made. In remembering Michael, we celebrate not only the man he was but the legacy he leaves behind—one of kindness, loyalty, and love.
