According to reports, an argument broke out inside the home between Mickese and his longtime partner, Shatice Jackson, who is also the mother of his children. Tensions quickly escalated. Shots were fired. Moments later, Micky made his way outside—perhaps seeking to deescalate, perhaps trying to distance himself from the chaos. But it was too late. Witnesses say Shatice got into her car and, in a moment that will forever haunt those who saw it, drove forward and pinned Mickese against a vehicle or structure, killing him instantly.
