With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Jeffrey T. “Tim” Culver, who left this world on April 19, 2025, at the age of 50. A beloved son, father, friend, and community member, Tim’s vibrant presence, caring soul, and boundless energy will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Born and raised in Wausau, Wisconsin, Tim was known throughout the community not just by his name, but by the way he made people feel—seen, heard, and valued. With his infectious smile and easygoing demeanor, he had a natural way of lifting spirits and bringing people together. Whether he was cracking a joke to lighten the mood or offering a listening ear, Tim’s warmth left an indelible mark on everyone he met.
To his family, Tim was a pillar of strength and devotion. His love for his children was boundless, and he carried his role as a father with great pride and joy. Family gatherings were never complete without his laughter filling the room and his stories that always had just the right mix of humor and heart. Tim’s loyalty extended to his friends, many of whom considered him more like a brother—a dependable presence through both the triumphs and the trials of life.
Beyond his personal relationships, Tim was actively involved in the community and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was the kind of person who would stop to help a stranger, check in on a neighbor, or volunteer his time for a good cause. His legacy is one of compassion, generosity, and authenticity.
As we grieve his loss, we also pause to celebrate the life Tim lived—a life full of purpose, laughter, and love. He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. His memory will live on in the countless lives he touched and the joy he brought into the world.
A visitation for Tim will be held on Friday, April 26, 2025, followed by a funeral service at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home in Wausau. Friends, family, and community members are invited to come together to share memories, offer comfort, and honor the life of a man who gave so much to so many.
