According to police, the vehicles turned eastbound on 10 Mile Road when shots were fired. A 26-year-old Detroit man, who was driving one of the vehicles, sustained a gunshot wound to the leg. His passenger reported that the shooting was unprovoked. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A second vehicle was also struck by gunfire, but no injuries were reported in that vehicle. Police are currently searching for a black four-door sports car that fled eastbound on 10 Mile Road.
