A Dear Friend is in Need – Please Read & Share

I don’t usually make posts like this, but a dear friend of mine is going through something no parent should ever have to face. Last week, she tragically lost her son — suddenly and unexpectedly. He was not only a beloved son and father, but also the sole provider for their household. This has left their family not only grieving deeply, but also struggling to meet their most basic needs.

This situation is devastating, and they need our help to get through the days and weeks ahead.

They’re currently living with my friend’s mother-in-law, and she is working hard to convert her garage into a small living space to provide some stability for the children and their mother during this time of transition. While they are doing everything they can to stay strong and keep going, they are in need of support from the community.

Here are a few specific things they need right now:

🍼 Size 7 diapers and baby wipes
🧸 Gently used toys
👕 Boys clothing (size small)
📱 Tablets for the children’s learning and play (they had to return the school-provided ones when they moved)
🛏️ Bedding
🪑 Lightly used furniture and rugs — for the garage space they’re converting into a small apartment
