With profound sorrow and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jackie Ray Owens, of Plymouth, Indiana, who departed this life on April 27, 2025, at the young age of 37. Jackie Ray left this world far too soon, but not without leaving a deep and lasting imprint on the lives of those who knew and loved them.

Born and raised in the quiet, close-knit community of Plymouth, Jackie Ray was a beacon of light—known for their boundless energy, compassionate heart, and infectious laugh that could brighten even the darkest of days. From childhood, Jackie Ray had a special way of bringing people together, always quick with a kind word or a helping hand. Whether in a room full of family or a chance meeting with a stranger, Jackie Ray’s warmth and authenticity left a lasting impression.

Jackie Ray’s life was defined by love, resilience, and devotion—especially to their family. A deeply loving parent to sons Jasper and Jameson, Jackie Ray cherished every moment with them. Whether playing games in the yard, cheering them on from the sidelines, or offering quiet wisdom during life’s challenges, Jackie Ray was a guiding light and constant source of encouragement to their children. Their legacy will continue through Jasper and Jameson, who carry within them the strength, kindness, and joy that defined their parent.

Jackie Ray is survived by their beloved mother, Nannette Owens, whose unwavering love and support were cornerstones of Jackie Ray’s life. Their bond was unbreakable—a testament to the deep connection they shared. Jackie Ray also leaves behind siblings and extended family members who will miss their spirit dearly, as well as numerous friends whose lives were forever enriched by Jackie Ray’s friendship.

A talented and hard-working individual, Jackie Ray contributed meaningfully to their community, always striving to uplift others and create spaces of belonging. Whether through work, volunteering, or simply being a caring neighbor, Jackie Ray made Plymouth a better place.

To celebrate and honor Jackie Ray Owens’ life, a visitation will be held on May 3, 2025, at Ancilla Domini Chapel. This sacred gathering will provide an opportunity for family, friends, and loved ones to reflect on the memories they shared, the laughter they enjoyed, and the love that will endure long beyond this moment of loss.

Though Jackie Ray’s journey on earth has ended, the love they gave continues to echo in the hearts of those they leave behind. In every sunrise, in every child’s smile, and in every quiet moment of reflection, we will remember Jackie Ray with love and gratitude.
