A Call for Love and Support: Lifting Up the Mounce Family

Dear Church Family and Friends,

It is with heavy hearts that we share some deeply sorrowful news about a beloved part of our church community. Pastor Martin, his wife Joy, and their son MJ have experienced a devastating and life-altering loss. A recent tragedy has taken from them their home, their vehicle, and two of their cherished cats—precious companions that were part of their family. This unimaginable event has left them reeling, grieving, and in urgent need of support—both spiritually and practically.

As many of you know, Pastor Martin has poured so much love, energy, and faith into our community over the years. He has walked with many of us through our own struggles and triumphs, offering guidance, prayer, and encouragement. Now, it is our turn to come alongside the Mounce family—to stand in the gap and lift them up in their time of need.

We humbly ask for your help during this critical time. If you are able to offer support in any way—through prayer, financial gifts, temporary housing assistance, or any other resources—it would make a profound difference. No gift is too small. Every prayer, every act of kindness, every dollar contributed is a reminder to them that they are not alone, that they are surrounded by a family of believers who care deeply.

Let us come together as the Body of Christ, united in compassion and love. Let us show what it truly means to bear one another’s burdens and to serve one another in love.

If you would like to contribute or have resources that may be of help, please reach out directly to Grisel, Katrina, or a member of the church board. We are organizing this effort independently and with care, as the Mounce family is not aware we are sharing this appeal.

Your generosity, prayers, and compassion are deeply appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to consider how you might bless this dear family in their hour of need.

With heartfelt gratitude,
