It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Diamonique Jordan Cade, who departed this life far too soon on May 16, 2025, at the tender age of 26. While their time with us was brief, Diamonique’s life was rich with love, laughter, compassion, and a radiant light that touched every soul who had the privilege to know them.
Born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, Diamonique was a beloved child, sibling, friend, and community member. From an early age, they possessed a natural warmth and vibrant energy that drew people in and made them feel seen, heard, and cared for. Whether it was through a kind word, a heartfelt hug, or simply being present, Diamonique had an uncanny ability to lift spirits and spread joy wherever they went.
Those who knew Diamonique would describe them as generous, fiercely loyal, and full of life. Their smile could light up the darkest room, and their laugh was the kind that echoed and lingered long after the moment had passed. They had a way of making every person feel special, never hesitating to offer support or stand beside someone in need. Diamonique had dreams as big as their heart—full of hope, ambition, and the desire to make a difference.
Family meant everything to Diamonique. They were a devoted family member and a constant source of strength and encouragement. They cherished time spent with loved ones, whether that meant sharing a home-cooked meal, reminiscing about childhood memories, or creating new ones through small, everyday moments filled with love. Their friends were their extended family—relationships they nurtured with the same unwavering commitment and kindness.
Though Diamonique’s journey was cut short, their impact will forever be imprinted on the hearts of those who knew and loved them. Their legacy lives on in every act of kindness they performed, every life they touched, and every memory that brings a smile in the midst of sorrow. We remember them not only in our grief, but in the joy they gave us, and the love they so freely shared.
A Celebration of Life service will be held in honor of Diamonique on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Lennon-Seney United Methodist Church, a place that held deep meaning to them and their family. Friends and loved ones are invited to come together in remembrance, to share stories, find comfort in one another, and celebrate a life that, though short in years, was long in love.
Let us not say goodbye, but instead see you later, knowing that Diamonique’s spirit continues to surround us. In our hearts, in our memories, and in every moment we carry their light forward, we keep them alive.
