Clarksville, TN — The Clarksville Police Department is actively investigating two commercial burglaries that occurred on May 2, 2025, and May 23, 2025. Both incidents involved forced entries into local businesses that specialize in selling THCA-based products. Authorities have confirmed that the same individual is responsible for both crimes, during which merchandise valued at more than $4,800 was stolen.
According to police reports, the suspect forcibly entered the businesses during off-hours, targeting specific inventory items believed to be THCA products—a compound found in hemp-derived cannabis that has become increasingly popular for its psychoactive properties in states where such products are legal.
Suspect Description:
Surveillance footage obtained from both scenes reveals consistent imagery of the individual believed to be responsible. The suspect is described as a Black male, appearing to be in his 20s to 30s, with a beard. At the time of both burglaries, he was wearing latex-coated knit gloves and carrying a duffel bag, which he used to transport the stolen items.
Authorities have released still images from the surveillance footage (see attached photos) in hopes that a member of the public may recognize the individual.
