On March 7, 2025, the Wilmington, Delaware community was shaken by the tragic loss of 23-year-old Marvin Jafeth Castro Fugon. According to his family, Marvin died by suicide after jumping from the Delaware Memorial Bridge .

In the wake of this tragedy, his family has expressed a heartfelt desire to recover his body to provide a proper farewell. Despite extensive search efforts, his body remains missing .
In response to this heartbreaking event, a GoFundMe campaign was established to support the family’s search and recovery efforts, as well as to cover anticipated funeral expenses. The community has shown immense support, with nearly $4,000 raised to date .
