A proud father to three beloved daughters and a treasured grandfather, Herschel was the kind of man whose family always came first. Whether it was helping with school projects, cheering from the sidelines, or simply being a steady presence at family dinners, he embodied love, loyalty, and steadfast support. His children and grandchildren were his greatest joy, and his love for them knew no bounds.

A man of the outdoors, Herschel found peace in nature. He had a special fondness for the Colorado landscape—the mountains, the fresh air, the simple beauty of being outside. For 13 years, Herschel proudly operated Elite Pest Control, a local business he built with dedication, integrity, and genuine care for his customers. His reputation was one of excellence, reliability, and kindness, and he took pride in being a part of the lives and homes of so many in the Colorado Springs community.
