A Tragic Incident

According to the San Antonio Police Department, the fatal altercation occurred during an argument with his 56-year-old neighbor, Sigfredo Alvarez Ceja. Ceja allegedly shot Joss multiple times before attempting to flee. He was quickly apprehended and charged with murder, with bail set at $200,000.

A Storied Career

Born and raised in San Antonio, Joss was of Comanche and White Mountain Apache descent. He studied theater at Our Lady of the Lake University and had a robust television and film career, including roles in Tulsa King, Ray Donovan, True Grit, and The Magnificent Seven. Joss was slated to reprise his role as John Redcorn in the upcoming King of the Hill revival on Hulu, set to premiere August 4.

Personal Struggles

Earlier in January, Joss lost his uninsured childhood home and three dogs in a fire, prompting fans to raise funds for him through GoFundMe. Throughout his hardship, Joss remained active in various creative ventures, including acting and music.
