Lakewood, WA – June 4, 2025- A community gathering turned tragic on the evening of May 28 when gunfire erupted at Harry Todd Park in Lakewood, Washington, leaving seven individuals injured. Among the victims was Amber Ross, who, along with six others, sustained injuries during the incident. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the suspect remains at large.

At approximately 8:00 p.m., Lakewood Police Department officers responded to multiple 911 calls reporting shots fired at Harry Todd Park, a popular lakeside destination in the Tillicum neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers encountered a chaotic scene with families and individuals fleeing the area.
Five victims were found at the scene and received immediate medical attention before being transported to local hospitals. Two additional victims sought medical care independently. The ages of the injured ranged from 16 to 38 years old.
