Bow Police Department Announces Arrest of Honduran National in Child Sexual Abuse Material Investigation

BOW, NH — The Bow Police Department, in collaboration with the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children (NH ICAC) Task Force, has arrested 31-year-old Elder Antonio Lopez-Fletes, a Honduran national temporarily residing in Bow, following the execution of a search and arrest warrant on Thursday.

The arrest is the culmination of a comprehensive six-month investigation led by Detective Sergeant Coady of the Bow Police Department. Lopez-Fletes now faces five felony counts of possession of child sexual abuse material, a serious offense under New Hampshire law that underscores the state’s commitment to protecting children from exploitation and abuse.

Thursday’s operation was a multi-agency effort involving coordination between the Bow Police Department and NH ICAC, which is part of a nationwide initiative to combat online child exploitation. Law enforcement officials expressed their appreciation for the task force’s steadfast support and expertise throughout the investigation.

“This arrest reflects the continued dedication of our officers and the NH ICAC Task Force to identifying, investigating, and holding accountable individuals who exploit children,” said a spokesperson for the Bow Police Department. “We remain committed to ensuring the safety of the most vulnerable members of our community.”

Following his arrest, Lopez-Fletes was transported to the Merrimack County House of Corrections, where he will remain in custody pending arraignment in accordance with New Hampshire RSA 597:2. This statute prohibits the release of individuals charged with offenses under RSA 649-A, which governs the possession of child sexual abuse images. Lopez-Fletes is scheduled to appear in 6th Circuit – District Division – Concord Court on Friday, June 20, 2025.
