WARMINSTER, PA — Longtime Catholic School Teacher and Youth Sports Coach Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

WARMINSTER, PA — The Warminster community is reeling after the shocking arrest of 65-year-old Richard Allen Adamsky, a longtime teacher and youth sports coach, who now faces multiple felony charges related to child sexual abuse material (CSAM). The arrest, announced Wednesday by Bucks County District Attorney Jennifer Schorn, follows an extensive investigation that has exposed deeply troubling conduct by a trusted figure in the community.

Adamsky, who has been employed at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic School in Warminster Township, was taken into custody Wednesday morning, shortly after authorities executed a search warrant at his residence. He is now formally charged with felony counts of possession of child sexual abuse material and criminal use of a communication facility, among other potential charges that may emerge as the investigation continues.

Investigation Traced CSAM Activity to Adamsky’s IP

The investigation began on March 30, 2025, when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) submitted a cyber tip reporting a disturbing upload involving CSAM. The reported material included a nude image of a prepubescent female with her genitals exposed, which had been uploaded using Microsoft Bing Reverse Image Search. Investigators traced the upload back to an IP address provided by Verizon, which ultimately identified Richard Adamsky as the subscriber.

Following the digital trail, investigators obtained a warrant to search Adamsky’s devices. During questioning, Adamsky reportedly confessed to having searched for and downloaded child sexual abuse material for approximately four to five years. When asked by investigators how many images or videos he had saved over that time, Adamsky chillingly responded, “too many.”

Community Shock and Outrage

News of Adamsky’s arrest has stunned parents, faculty, and residents throughout Warminster and the surrounding Bucks County area. In addition to his teaching role at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic School, Adamsky was also involved as a youth sports coach, further deepening concerns about the breadth of his interactions with minors.

“It’s absolutely horrifying. We trusted him with our children,” said one parent, who asked to remain anonymous. “There are no words for the betrayal we feel right now.”

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia has not yet issued an official statement but is expected to address the matter soon. Meanwhile, the school community is grappling with shock, confusion, and anger, with many calling for thorough background checks and stronger safeguards.

Ongoing Investigation and Public Call for Information

Detectives continue to examine the digital evidence recovered from Adamsky’s residence and devices. Investigators have emphasized that there is no known evidence at this time indicating direct contact offenses involving local children; however, the nature of the charges and Adamsky’s access to children over many years make this an ongoing and high-priority investigation.

“This case highlights the relentless efforts of our cybercrime investigators and the importance of reporting suspicious activity,” said DA Schorn. “We are committed to uncovering the full scope of this disturbing case.”

Law enforcement officials are urging anyone with information about Adamsky or concerns regarding possible victims to come forward. Detective Wojciechowski with the Warminster Township Police Department can be reached at 215-672-1000.

Legal Consequences and Next Steps

Adamsky remains in custody and is expected to face a preliminary hearing in the coming days. He could face significant prison time if convicted on the felony counts, including multiple years per image possessed depending on the court’s findings.

His bond hearing and arraignment details are pending, and authorities have confirmed that his access to children has been fully restricted pending the outcome of the investigation.

Final Thoughts

The arrest of Richard Allen Adamsky serves as a devastating reminder that predatory behavior can lurk in even the most trusted corners of our communities. As Warminster reckons with this betrayal, local leaders and residents alike are calling for continued vigilance, transparency, and support for potential victims.
