It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the devastating loss of Traci Ann Boyda, who passed away on June 26, 2025, at the age of 49. Traci’s passing leaves a void that words cannot fill, and she will be remembered always for her unwavering love, warmth, and strength of spirit.

A devoted wife, Traci shared 22 beautiful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Thomas Boyda. Their bond was one of genuine partnership and deep affection, a love story that inspired all who knew them. Together, they built a home filled with laughter, compassion, and unconditional support.

Traci was a loving and proud mother to her two sons, Anthony and Matthew, who were the very heart of her world. Her nurturing presence, wise guidance, and fierce devotion will remain etched in their lives and in the stories they will carry forward. She was the kind of mother who made each of her sons feel seen, heard, and deeply loved—always their greatest champion and most trusted confidante.

Born into a family rich with love, Traci was the treasured daughter of Roseann Kettler and the late Timothy Kettler. She shared a close bond with her siblings, Tammy Eschbach (Timothy) and Timothy Kettler (Julie), with whom she created a lifetime of cherished memories. As an aunt, Traci was adored by her nieces and nephews—Steven, Kristen, Daniel, and Isaac—who knew her as a joyful, generous, and ever-present source of encouragement and fun.

She was also a beloved daughter-in-law to Thomas and Karen Boyda, and a dear sister-in-law to Jenny and Christy. Traci embraced her extended family with open arms and a full heart, building relationships grounded in kindness, humor, and empathy.

In every corner of her life, Traci’s warmth shone brightly. She had an infectious smile, an easy laugh, and a heart that welcomed everyone she met. Her loyalty, compassion, and unshakable faith touched the lives of many and left a lasting impression.

A passionate animal lover, Traci shared her days with her beloved fur babies, Ruby and Teddy, whose companionship brought her immense joy and comfort. Her gentleness and care extended to all creatures, and she treated her pets as members of the family.

Family and friends are invited to honor Traci’s life during visitation on Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Wujek – Calcaterra & Sons Inc., 36900 Schoenherr Rd. at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). A funeral mass will be held on Monday, with instate at 10:30 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Mass at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1400 Inglewood Ave., Rochester, MI 48307. Traci will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery, where her spirit will be surrounded by peace.

As we gather to say goodbye, we also celebrate the extraordinary woman Traci was—devoted wife, proud mother, cherished daughter, loving sister, generous friend, and fierce protector of those she held dear. Though she is gone far too soon, the legacy of her love, laughter, and kindness will continue to echo in the lives of all who had the blessing of knowing her.

May her soul rest in eternal peace. She was deeply loved, and she will never be forgotten.
