STABBING AT TAHOE RENO INDUSTRIAL CENTER – SUSPECT IN CUSTODY
STOREY COUNTY, NV — On the morning of June 27, 2025, deputies from the Storey County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a stabbing incident at a job site within the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center (TRIC). Upon arrival, deputies encountered a male suspect, later identified as Ricky Duboc, who was covered in what appeared to be blood and found to be carrying a spring-loaded knife.
Duboc was immediately detained without incident, and deputies began securing the scene.
A second male subject, William Roemer, was found nearby suffering from multiple stab wounds and life-threatening injuries. Roemer was treated on-site and then transported to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition as of this release.
PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION
Deputies conducted initial interviews with multiple eyewitnesses present at the job site. Through these accounts, Ricky Duboc was identified as the primary aggressor in the attack. Investigators later confirmed that both Duboc and Roemer were employed at the same work site.
Further investigation revealed that both men were affiliated with outlaw motorcycle gangs:
- Ricky Duboc is a confirmed member of the Mongols Motorcycle Club
- William Roemer is affiliated with the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club
Detectives believe the attack stemmed from ongoing tensions between the rival organizations, and the incident is being treated as gang-related violence.
ADDITIONAL VICTIM IDENTIFIED
During the altercation, a third individual—a bystander—was also stabbed. Fortunately, this person’s injuries were not life-threatening. They were treated at a local hospital and later released. Investigators are currently working to determine whether this victim was intentionally targeted or unintentionally injured during the attack.
CHARGES FILED
Ricky Duboc was transported to the Storey County Detention Facility, where he was formally booked and held on a bail amount of $185,000. He faces the following felony charges:
