Remembering Tina M. Vennebush: A Life of Service, Love, and Loyalty

Loyalhanna, PA – The community of Loyalhanna is mourning the unexpected passing of Tina M. Vennebush, who died in her home on June 26, 2025, at the age of 42. Tina was a proud U.S. Army veteran, a loyal friend, and a vibrant spirit whose sudden departure has left a deep void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Born and raised in western Pennsylvania, Tina dedicated herself to service early in life, enlisting in the United States Army where she proudly served her country with honor and distinction. Her time in the military shaped her into a disciplined and compassionate individual, values that continued to guide her throughout her civilian life.

Following her service, Tina returned home to Loyalhanna, where she remained an active and beloved member of the Kingston Sportsman and Veterans Club. Her presence there was more than symbolic—Tina was often found participating in events, supporting fellow veterans, and ensuring the camaraderie that defined her military service lived on in her community life.

Tina was not just defined by her service; she was known for her infectious smile, big heart, and fierce loyalty, especially when it came to her family, her animals, and her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. Sundays were sacred, filled with black and gold pride, as Tina cheered on her team with unwavering enthusiasm. She also had a passion for the outdoors and was often seen on local golf courses, enjoying one of her favorite pastimes with friends and family.

An animal lover to the core, Tina cared deeply for her pets, who were more like family than companions. Her devotion to animals was well-known among those closest to her, often sharing stories, photos, and laughter about their adventures.

Tina’s passing has come as a profound shock to her loved ones, who remember her as a woman of strength, kindness, and integrity. She lived with quiet courage and made lasting impressions on those fortunate enough to know her.

To honor her life, visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at McCabe Funeral Home in Derry. A funeral service will follow on Monday, June 30, at 11:00 a.m., where family, friends, fellow veterans, and community members will gather to celebrate the life of a woman who gave so much to others.

The Vennebush family expresses their deep gratitude for the outpouring of support, love, and remembrance. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tina’s memory may be made to a local veterans’ support organization or animal rescue shelter—two causes that were close to her heart.

As the community reflects on her life, Tina M. Vennebush will be remembered not only for her military service, but for the love she shared so generously, her warm spirit, and the loyalty that defined her relationships. Her legacy lives on in every life she touched.
