Remembering Josie Kingerlee: A Bright Light Gone Too Soon

With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we share the heartbreaking news of the sudden passing of Josie Kingerlee, who left this world far too soon on July 1st, 2025.

Josie was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend — a young woman who radiated warmth, joy, and kindness in all that she did. Her sudden loss has left a deep void in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was the treasured daughter of Chris and Jo, and the deeply loved younger sister of Lola. To those closest to her, Josie was a constant source of love, light, and laughter.

Known for her gentle heart and spirited nature, Josie had a unique way of making others feel seen, valued, and uplifted. Her presence could brighten the darkest of days, and her memory will continue to live on through the countless lives she touched. Whether it was her unwavering support, infectious laughter, or the dreams she held for the future, Josie’s essence was a gift to all who knew her.

A service to celebrate Josie’s life will be held as follows:

Date: Friday, August 1st, 2025

Time: 1:00 PM

Location: Wessex Vale Crematorium

Dress Code: Traditional black attire

For those unable to attend in person, a livestream of the service will be made available. Details for virtual attendance will be shared in the coming days.

Following the ceremony, all who knew and loved Josie are welcome to join the family for a continued celebration of her life. The gathering will offer space to share memories, stories, and to honor the incredible person Josie was. The location for the post-service gathering will be confirmed shortly.
