In Loving Memory of Lakeisha Ann Broussard

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lakeisha Ann Broussard, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend, who departed this life on May 16, 2025, at the age of 38. Her life, though far too short, was one filled with love, compassion, faith, and a remarkable dedication to her family and community.

Born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana, Lakeisha was a beacon of warmth and kindness. She grew up in a close-knit family, surrounded by strong values and unwavering love. Her laughter was infectious, her wisdom profound beyond her years, and her presence a source of light in every room she entered.

Lakeisha was known for her strength of spirit, her giving heart, and her deep sense of empathy. Whether she was offering a helping hand to a neighbor, encouraging a friend through tough times, or supporting her loved ones in quiet, steadfast ways, she embodied grace and resilience. Her ability to uplift others, even when facing challenges of her own, left an enduring mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A dedicated mother, Lakeisha poured her heart into raising her children, teaching them the values of love, perseverance, and integrity. Her legacy lives on through them — in their smiles, their achievements, and the memories they’ll carry forward with pride.

Professionally, Lakeisha brought passion and purpose to all her endeavors. Whether working in education, healthcare, or community services, she approached each task with diligence and heart. Her work ethic was admired, and her colleagues often spoke of her as someone who made their days brighter and their loads lighter.

Beyond her career and family, Lakeisha found joy in simple pleasures — gospel music on Sunday mornings, long walks in the park, cooking soulful meals for those she loved, and attending community events in Shreveport. She was a woman of faith, a member of her local church, and someone whose belief in God guided her through every season of life.

Lakeisha’s departure leaves an irreplaceable void, but also a legacy of love, strength, and service. Her life is a reminder that the most important things are not the titles we earn, but the love we give, the kindness we show, and the lives we touch.
