The community is growing increasingly concerned as the search continues for 14-year-old Erica Long, who has now been missing for more than three days. Authorities, family, and volunteers are working around the clock, but so far, Erica’s whereabouts remain unknown.
LAST KNOWN DETAILS
Erica was last seen on Sunday evening, June 20, 2025, around 8:45 p.m., when she is believed to have left her home near E. Dry Creek Road and S. Gartrell Road in Aurora, Colorado. Since then, she has not returned or made contact with her family.
Erica is described as:
- Age: 14 years old
- Height: 5’4”
- Weight: 130 lbs
- Hair: Shoulder-length brown hair
- Distinguishing features: A henna tattoo on her left forearm
She was reportedly wearing casual clothing at the time she went missing, and investigators have released additional images showing both her appearance and the design of the henna tattoo, in hopes that someone might recognize her or come forward with information.

As of this update, Erica is still missing, and the concern for her safety continues to grow.
The Aurora Police Department has been working non-stop, pursuing every lead, conducting interviews, reviewing surveillance footage, and coordinating searches — but so far, no confirmed sightings have been reported. In response to the growing urgency of this case, Erica’s family is now offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to her safe return.
This is no longer a local matter. The following federal and national agencies have joined the search to help locate Erica:
- FBI – Federal Bureau of Investigation (Denver Division)
- Department of Homeland Security Investigations
- Colorado Bureau of Investigation
- National Center for Missing and Endangered, Inc., which has issued a nationwide advisory through the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children

Officials have classified this as a Missing Endangered Juvenile case due to Erica’s age and the unknown circumstances surrounding her disappearance. As each hour passes, the stakes grow higher.
