Tragic Rollover Crash on I-96 Claims Life of 17-Year-Old; Two Others Injured
A devastating single-vehicle accident occurred early Saturday morning on Interstate 96 in Ingham County, Michigan, resulting in the death of a 17-year-old male and critical injuries to a 20-year-old passenger. The crash took place around 7:20 a.m. when the sedan they were traveling in veered off the roadway, rolled over, and ejected both young men. The 17-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, while the 20-year-old was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.​
The 22-year-old driver sustained serious injuries and is currently hospitalized. A fourth passenger in the vehicle escaped the incident without injury.
