With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Dawn Michelle Shaw, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, friend, and cherished member of the Post Falls community. Dawn departed this world on April 24, 2025, at the age of 50. Her life was a radiant testament to love, resilience, and unwavering kindness.

Born on October 15, 1974, Dawn brought warmth and laughter wherever she went. She was known for her infectious smile, compassionate heart, and deep-rooted commitment to those she held dear. Whether offering a listening ear, lending a helping hand, or brightening a room with her vibrant energy, Dawn’s presence was a gift to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A woman of many talents and passions, Dawn poured her soul into everything she did. She was a creative spirit with a love for the arts, a nurturing mother who guided her children with grace and strength, and a loyal friend who could be counted on through thick and thin. She approached life with integrity and courage, facing both joys and challenges with humility and determination.

Her generosity extended beyond her family and close friends. Dawn was deeply involved in her local community, often volunteering her time and offering support to those in need. She believed in the power of small acts of kindness and the importance of making others feel seen, heard, and loved.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 1st, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Bell Tower Funeral Home and Crematory, where friends and family can come together to remember her beautiful life and say their goodbyes.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Dawn’s memory to a local women’s shelter or community outreach program — causes close to her heart and reflective of her lifelong commitment to helping others.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in the love Dawn gave so freely and the light she brought to our lives. May we carry her memory forward with the same compassion and joy that she brought to us every day.
