Tragic Shooting Claims Life of 34-Year-Old Man at Crown Inn in Orangeburg County
Authorities in Orangeburg County are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on the evening of Friday, April 18, 2025, at the Crown Inn located on Bamberg Highway. The victim has been identified as 34-year-old Samson Green of Orangeburg.
Deputies responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 8:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Mr. Green deceased at the scene, having suffered fatal gunshot wounds.
Sheriff Leroy Ravenell has urged anyone with information about the incident to come forward, stating, “If one has any information on this, we are asking they call us. We want to get anyone involved behind bars.
