A Life Marked by Early Struggles
Wilkerson’s interactions with the criminal justice system began in his teenage years. At 17, he was charged as an adult for allegedly assaulting another teen with a firearm in Washington’s West End . The previous year, at 15, he was involved in a robbery of a pizza delivery driver, a case that was later moved to juvenile court.
In 2015, at 18, Wilkerson was arrested alongside two others in connection with a shooting incident on Shannon Avenue in Washington. Although charges related to that specific incident were withdrawn, he was later found guilty in a nonjury trial of firearms violations, drug possession, and fleeing or eluding police stemming from a separate 2015 incident in Pittsburgh. He received a sentence of two to four years in prison, followed by three years of probation
The Tragic End
On June 8, 2018, Wilkerson was a passenger in an SUV that led Pennsylvania State Police on a high-speed chase in South Strabane Township. The pursuit ended when the SUV collided with a water tanker on Route 19 at Racetrack Road. Wilkerson, along with the driver and another passenger, sustained serious injuries in the crash . Despite medical efforts, Wilkerson succumbed to his injuries, marking a tragic end to his tumultuous life
