Authorities in Washington County, Oregon Issue Amber Alert for Two Abducted Children

 

Washington County, Oregon – Authorities are urgently searching for two young children who were reportedly abducted by their non-custodial mother. A statewide AMBER Alert has been issued in Oregon for 3-year-old Zimaya Moore and 2-year-old Michael Qualls, both of whom were last seen in the company of their biological mother, 26-year-old Trayviana Shoulders.

According to officials, Shoulders does not have legal custody of the children and is believed to have taken them without authorization. The children were reportedly taken sometime earlier this week, prompting law enforcement to activate the AMBER Alert system in hopes of securing their safe return as quickly as possible.

Authorities believe Shoulders is not acting alone. She is said to be accompanied by 29-year-old Adan Osman Abdi, who has been identified as the male driver in the abduction. It is unclear at this time what vehicle they are traveling in, but both suspects and the children may be on the move and attempting to evade law enforcement.
