The West Carrollton community is mourning the loss of Kelly Seputis, a beloved educator who passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025. Her sudden departure has left a profound void in the hearts of students, colleagues, and families who were touched by her warmth, creativity, and unwavering dedication to teaching.
A Life Dedicated to Education
Kelly Seputis served the West Carrollton City School District for over two decades, beginning her career at the Middle School and most recently teaching 6th Grade Language Arts at the Intermediate School. Known for her engaging teaching style and compassionate approach, she inspired countless students to embrace learning and strive for their best. Her classroom was a haven where students felt valued and empowered.
A Community in Mourning
In honor of Mrs. Seputis, the school district encouraged staff and students to wear green—her favorite color—on Monday, May 19.
