With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Matthew John Keski, a beloved son, brother, and friend, who left this world far too soon on April 11, 2025, at the age of 32. A lifelong resident of Ironwood, Michigan, Matthew brought warmth and energy to every room he entered and left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Matthew was known for his kind heart, infectious smile, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends. Whether offering a helping hand, sharing a laugh, or simply being present in someone’s time of need, Matthew embodied compassion and loyalty in the purest form. His life was filled with simple joys—spending time outdoors, enjoying time with loved ones, and living with a sense of humor and resilience that inspired those around him.
He is survived by his loving parents, John and Linda Keski, his cherished siblings, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will carry his memory with them always. Though the loss is immeasurable, so too is the love he left behind.
To honor Matthew’s life, a visitation will be held on May 3, 2025, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Ironwood, followed by a funeral service. Family, friends, and community members are invited to gather, share stories, and celebrate a life that, though brief, was lived with great love and impact.
